Lacking playing time with Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen during the first part of the season, German midfielder Nadiem Amiri could find a new opportunity elsewhere, notably in Ligue 1. According to Bild, OM and Lyon would be on the shot.
His name could return to the headlines this winter. Already courted during the last summer transfer window, Nadiem Amiri should attract the attention of several clubs with a view to a possible transfer in January.
The 27-year-old, a German international with five caps, is not an indisputable starter according to Xabi Alonso, his coach at Bayer Leverkusen. Since the start of the season, Amiri has only played 14 minutes in the Bundesliga, making do with late entries. This seriously pushes him to consider a move to a club that will give him more confidence in the coming weeks.

OM already wanted it this summer.
Last summer, OM already almost recruited the Bayer player for six million euros, but the lack of qualification for the Champions League stopped the transfer. Gennaro Gattuso and OM are considering a new attempt during this winter transfer window. OL are also interested, but the Bayer sporting director indicated that no player would be sold this winter. Having had an excellent start to the season, Leverkusen wants to maintain its squad, especially with several players leaving for the African Cup of Nations in January.
