“It’s torture to no longer have your child near you”
After the first day of the beating, Lina’s mother declared, her voice trembling: “Around 11:20 a.m., she sent a message to her boyfriend, that was the last time we had contact with her.” Her daughter “was supposed to go to Strasbourg by train, she never arrived,” she explains.
Upset, Lina’s mother added: “I want to find my daughter, I want her to be close to me” as well as: “It’s torture to no longer have your child close to you, it’s something that I wish to anyone.”
A hunt organized this Monday
This Monday, September 25 at the beginning of the afternoon, a hunt was organized with around a hundred people to find the young girl. Three areas of the forest bordering the RD350 road were explored by three groups of around thirty people.
The Savernes public prosecutor’s office explained in a press release that the gendarmerie supervised this search and was assisted by “a helicopter equipped with thermal cameras”.
When he disappeared on Saturday, several investigations were carried out as well as sweeps of the area “engaging a dog team”. An “overflight of the area” by a helicopter and drones was also carried out but yielded nothing.
