In delicacy, the Lakers announced favorites to welcome a big fish!

As the trade deadline approaches, the Lakers have not yet made any transfers but are fueling rumors. In order to strengthen their workforce, which is failing these days, they would even be better placed than anyone to welcome a star.
Since the start of the season, the Lakers have displayed a double face. Certainly winners of the first edition of the In-Season Tournament, their collective performance nevertheless remains very insufficient in the eyes of many observers. Announced among the main players in the title race by the latter during the summer, they currently only occupy 10th in the Western Conference (17-17).
Worse still, Darvin Ham’s men have suffered 7 defeats in the last 10 matches. The coach, for his part, seems to be having difficulty finding the internal solutions that would allow things to get back on track. As a result, his superiors would be looking for reinforcements, particularly on positions 1 and 2. Several names have therefore already been mentioned in the rumorsincluding that of a player who would be highly likely to join LA.

According to the sports betting site Bovada, the favorite team to afford the services of Dejounte Murray would thus be… the Lakers (1.87), ahead of the Knicks (2.05). In fact, some evidence has recently suggested that the Hawks guard could quickly become available on the market. The Angelino staff could therefore see this as a golden opportunity to expand the franchise’s backcourt and get back afloat.
In addition, Adrian Wojnarowski had announced that the priority of the Californian leaders was fast and athletic recruits. Thus, Murray would meet almost all the conditions imposed by management. This would also allow Darvin Ham to have an additional option in the construction of the game, knowing that the tactician had to reposition LeBron James as leader a few days ago.
Running this season at 20.5 points and 5.2 assists per game, the former Spur is nevertheless in high demand on the market. It must be said that his relatively modest contract which runs until 2028 would almost appear like a financial boon these days. However, the Purple & Gold will surely have to sacrifice several important elements in order to successfully complete any negotiations.
