OL: Caqueret explains Lyon’s revival – Olympique Lyonnais

In bad shape for a good part of their match against Montpellier, Olympique Lyonnais managed to reverse the trend at the end of the match to finally win 2-1. A success which validates Lyon’s renewal.

Little by little, the Rhone club is emerging from the crisis. But thanks to goals from the home saviors, namely Lacazette (74th) and Caqueret (82nd), Lyon finally turned things around to secure a fifth victory in seven days of the championship. With this good result against a direct competitor in the fight for maintenance, OL gives itself some breathing room by taking three points ahead of the play-off, Lorient, from its thirteenth place in the standings. This mental victory represents the new OL quite well, the one built by Pierre Sage over the past few weeks.
