After their painful victory against Uruguay on Thursday evening, some players from the French XV visited an establishment welcoming people with disabilities. A meeting that delighted the residents.
After their teammates’ small victory on Thursday evening against Uruguay, Damian Penaud, Matthieu Jalibert, Gaël Fickou, Charles Ollivion and Uni Atonio went to visit an establishment which welcomes disabled people who are unable to work. A similar operation had already taken place last week, where the players who did not participate in the victory against the Blacks went to meet the young players from the Reuil-Malmaison rugby club.
Residents over the moon
The Blues initially took part in a question/answer session, accepting for example the help of a person offering to be their “lucky charm“. Before taking a few photos and signing autographs, always in a good-natured atmosphere. A “Too cute” moment, as Gaël Fickou pointed out when leaving the residents who were all over the moon.
The same evening, Matthieu Jalibert, Cameron Woki and Reda Wardi went to the Parc des Princes to watch the match between PSG and Nice. A relaxing weekend for the French XV which we hope has digested the poor performance of Uruguay and has already shifted to Thursday’s match against Namibia.
