The 21-year-old stabbed several times in front of the Jules-Guesde high school died in his hospital bed in Montpellier

Vile crime? Free aggression? Retaliation? Ambush? For the moment, history does not tell. What we know from a reliable source, however, is that a young man of 21 years old (and not 50 years old as announced this Monday evening) died in his hospital bed as a result of his serious injuries.

This Monday evening, in fact, around 7:30 p.m., the Sdis 34 firefighters intervened at 138 avenue de Lodève, in front of the Beau Soleil residence, a stone’s throw from the Jules-Guesde high school in Montpellier, to help him .

Lying on the ground, the young man was unconscious and in cardio-ventilatory arrest. Very seriously injured by several stab wounds, he was taken to the emergency room of the Lapeyronie hospital center in critical condition before being admitted to intensive care in the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department (Dar A). This is where he unfortunately passed away.

An investigation is underway to try to identify the perpetrator(s) who fled after the attack.
