Transfers – James Hall seriously injured in the knee, Racing 92 looking for a scrum half?

Racing 92 scrum-half James Hall will not play again this season due to a torn cruciate knee ligament suffered against Toulouse in January. The Ile-de-France club could start looking for a medical joker.

It’s definitely not a party for the scrum halves at Racing 92. While Nolann Le Garrec is out of the round of 16 of the Investec Champions Cup after his concussion suffered during the Top 14 match against Clermont, James Hall will no longer play with Ciel et Blanc this season. The former Stade Français player has suffered a ruptured cruciate knee ligament since the match against Toulouse in January, an injury which requires several months of rehabilitation after the operation.

Clovis Le Bail should start in Toulouse

It is also possible that Hall will no longer play in the Ile-de-France jersey, since he would be in the process of leaving in June. To replace him, Racing 92 could start looking for a new scrum half soon. As for the match against Toulouse this weekend, Clovis Le Bail should wear number 9, since Antoine Gibert is currently suffering from a sprained ankle.
