This young coach already has solid experience on the benches: AEK Larnaca (Cyprus), Hatta Club (United Arab Emirates), Ethnikos (Cyprus) and Doxa Katokopias (Cyprus) before Romania now. OL carefully studied the Charalambous option and kept it in the back of their minds in case Fabio Grosso decided not to come after all.
