Baki settles the Cédric Doumbé case for good: “It’s not up to me to…

Winner of Cédric Doumbé at PFL Paris 2, Baysangur Chamsoudinov has since been accused of not wanting to take part in a rematch against the former kick-boxer. Unsurprisingly, “Baki” is fed up and so set the record straight in a recent interview.

In the eyes of many fans, PFL Paris 2 looks unfinished. The long-awaited fight between Cédric Doumbé and Baysangur Chamsoudinov had initially kept its promises, before coming to a brutal end due to a splinter planted in the foot of the first city. As a result, it was the young Franco-Chechen who was declared the winner.

Since then, Doumbé obviously insists on obtaining a revenge and does not hesitate to proclaim that “Baki” would flee a second confrontation. The latter has often claimed that he wanted to obtain large financial compensation in return, and rightly so. While fans of “The Best” practically treat him as a coward, the ARES nugget has decided to once and for all set things straight on the AB Show.

Ultra-cash Baki on a potential revenge against Doumbé

I didn’t get a proposal for the short notice. I didn’t even have a proposal at all (for revenge, editor’s note). They can say: “he refuses, revenge, he asks for conditions that are too harsh” but even a proposal with lower conditions I didn’t get one. That means they’re all talking for nothing. It’s not up to me to go to them to ask for a rematch, I’m the winner.

Impossible to refute this logic, because Baki actually holds all the cards. While an arrival at the UFC would apparently be on the agenda for him, it is therefore mainly up to the PFL to do what is necessary and that would start with a concrete revenge proposal. And once again, he has no interest in accepting a discounted offer as the winner… which does not spare him from murderous remarks.

Baysangur “Baki” Chamsoudinov is not going to beat around the bush, the PFL has not yet submitted any offer to him for a rematch. Which explains why this is still not on the agenda, contrary to what his detractors claim, who loudly proclaim that he would flee a new fight against Cédric Doumbé.
